Overhyped, high expectations, low results - Spider-Man 2 Reviews

Ok, I just got back from Spiderman 2, which was deemed quite possibly the greatest superhero action movie ever-but it's not. It was terrible and I will tell you why. Story: Nothing too complicated in the story. But it's the same thing as the first spiderman. I won't tell you how, or else that ruins the movie, but it's virtually the same action storyline; however the romance is more and less than 10% of the movie is action...kinda slow. Acting: wow! it was terrrrrible. Tobey Macguire-stick to horses, I believe them more than I believed you. Kirsten Dunst--not only is she not that pretty, they didn't do anything to make her look any better AND she can't act...she was in Bring it On, remember? Nobody else was good or had a good performance. Direction: So many glitches in this movie. Such bad editing. It makes me want to put my face in my pillow and scream. Spiderman swings his web -- when there's nothing above him except clouds. Also, screenplay was bad. Real bad. The last line of the movie made me want to puke. Visuals: Good thing I watched this movie at the Fox theater in LA or else this would have gotten an "F" grade also. Computer animation was fair, at best. The web looks real, but it attatches to nothing half the time. Overall: Well, they claim the movie is set in New York, however there's no locations in the movie that were actually like New York. Many glitches in the movie. Should be nominated for worst attempted comedy/action movie. Only see this movie if somebody gave you $10 and 2 hours, 3 min of day. Make sure you get popcorn because it'll be more interesting than the movie.
